The mobile app basically wraps the website and the linked pages in a mobile application like something you would get in the Play store the App store. The benefit is I’ve added some special code to remove adds on the sites I link to, and you don’t have a giant address bar taking up half your phone screen when in landscape mode.
I’ll post an alert on the home page when I make app updates. Always make sure you download this from your device’s web browser, not from inside the app.
(sorry, I’d have to pay $$ for the iOS version)
Instructions:
- When the file is down downloading, tap Open
- If you get a popup saying your phone isn’t allowed to install unknown apps from this source, tap Settings
- Tap the item that flashes (probably chrome) to enable it.
- In the Do you want to install this app? window, tap Install
- In the Blocked by Play Protect window, tap Install Anyway
- Tap Open
- You can choose to send the app for scanning or not when prompted, it doesn’t matter.
Note: when updating the app, it will ask you if you want to download it again- you do.
